Mark 11:18-20

¹⁸ And the chief priests and the scribes heard this, and they ^(A)began seeking how to put Him to death; for they were afraid of Him, because all ^(B)the crowd was astonished at His teaching.

¹⁹ And ^(C)whenever evening came, ^[a]they would leave the city.

^20 (D)As they were passing by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots up.
